By Jamal Moss, NOAA Fisheries, on the Northwest Explorer
We caught a Pacific daggertooth on the last net tow tonight. An oddly shaped critter with a head like a barracuda, one centrally located row of large sharp teeth on the upper jaw, and smooth delicate iridescent skin. Way cool! We also caught a rather large female dogfish.
